Maren Morris Reacts to Her Onstage Wardrobe Malfunction: ‘I Think I’ll Frame the Skirt’

Maren Morris is taking her latest wardrobe malfunction in stride!

On Tuesday, the “My Church” singer posted a TikTok reacting to the viral videos that have been circulating of her performance on July 4 — which accidentally got a little revealing when her skirt with a waist-high slit left little to the imagination.

“Hey guyz did anything weird happen today,” she quipped in the caption of a video of her looking around the camera while Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” plays. “Anyways, stream ‘Intermission,'” she added.

Under the video, Morris, 34, confirmed what everyone was thinking — the weird thing was her viral performance.

“I think I’ll frame the skirt,” she wrote.

Morris’ comments were met with support from her fans who praised her reaction. In response to one user asking if she was embarrassed, she confirmed she wasn’t fazed.

“Like, I’ve given birth. Nothing embarrasses me anymore,” she wrote.

Morris rang in the Fourth of July holiday by taking the stage at Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic concert in Camden, New Jersey. Since, clips of the moment have been making their way around the internet. While performing “The Middle,” Morris walked around the stage, and inadvertently exposed what was under the skirt.

The mother-of-one has not publicly posted the video from the performance. In May, the infamous skirt got a little love from the songstress on her Instagram feed.

“yeah, I guess that’s my church skirt. 💒,” she captioned the mirror selfie that led her photo carousel. In the pic, Morris stands in the mirror and puts her leg on full display.

Morris is currently celebrating the release of her latest breakup anthem, “I Hope I Never Fall in Love.” Earlier this month, the songstress opened up about the inspiration of the song — which is her split from Ryan Hurd.

“‘I Hope I Never Fall in Love’ is about, well it’s pretty self-explanatory from the title,” Morris said. “Having just gone through a giant breakup, just not wanting to go down that path again and wanting to keep things casual and really just lean into the situationship of it all.”
