Rob Lowe might be one of the most famous faces in film and TV, but despite that, his son John Owen has made it his business to expertly troll his father on social media and in interviews.
John Owen, who is currently promoting the pair’s Netflix show, Unstable, even had an entire segment on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in which he went through some of the funniest comments he’s posted under his dad’s pictures.
“I’m trying to keep him humble, man,” the 29-year-old joked.
Underneath all the jokes is of course a deep sense of love and respect. Back in 2022, John Owen opened up about how his dad was instrumental in helping him get sober after struggling with addiction in his younger years.
“He was always there for me,” said John Owen. “I credit that with being one, if not the main, reason that I’m sober and living a healthy lifestyle.”
