Sunisa “Suni” Lee is back at the Summer Olympics, and absolutely nailing her routines — in more ways than one.

The champion gymnast, who competed in the Women’s Team Final July 30, during which Team USA picked up the gold medal, and is also set to compete in the Women’s All-Around Final Thursday, August 1, Women’s Uneven Bars Final Sunday, August 4 and Balance Beam Final Monday, August 5, hit the the initial qualifying round wearing the Kiss Salon X-tend Nails in the style Pure

Lee’s manicures first caught the eyes of beauty enthusiasts in 2021, when she competed at the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo. The then 18-year-old athlete wore an acrylic design that paid homage to the event and team USA with Olympic rings on her left hand and red and blue wavy lines on the right.

She returned to the salon where she got her nails done, Little Luxuries Nail Lounge in Minneapolis, to have the right hand changed to all-white so as not to distract her during her routines.

At the time, Little Luxuries Nail Lounge CEO Amy Vang shared that while Lee typically wears her nails longer, she’d requested a shorter coffin shape (below) ahead of the the event.

“Being a gymnast requires me to move in a way that is flexible, weightless, and strong. I need the same traits when it comes to my manicure & Salon X-tend allows me to do that effortlessly, while also showcasing my individuality, wherever my meets take me,” the statement continued.
