Jenelle Evans is celebrating her son Jace on his 15th birthday!
On Saturday, Aug. 3, the Teen Mom 2 star, 32, shared a post on Instagram marking her eldest son’s special day.
In one photo, Evans and her son can be seen posing in front of his birthday cake, which was made complete with 15 candles.
“What is 15? Being 15 is riding 4 wheelers, building tents, ordering pizza with friends,” she captioned the post — alongside a video of her son riding a four-wheeler into the woods. “That’s how @jace_vahn wanted his birthday! How did those years go by so quick? 🥹❤️🎉🎂 I’m the short one now!”
Evans is also mom to son Kaiser, 10, and daughter Ensley, 7. She shares Kaiser with her ex-boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, and Ensley with her estranged husband, David Eason, whom she legally separated from in March 2024.
Evans rose to fame when she starred on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant while expecting Jace in 2010.
Just a year later, Evans joined the cast of Teen Mom 2, where viewers got a glimpse into Jace’s early childhood before his grandmother, Barbara, gained custody of him.
Last year, Evans was granted full custody of her oldest child after he had been in the care of his grandmother for much of his life.
Evans previously opened up about the moment she signed the paperwork to take custody of the teen, sharing a video and photos of the moment to her Instagram and TikTok accounts.
“#MyHappyEnding ITS OFFICIAL! Thanks everyone for the support! Words can’t [describe] how happy I truly am. Our family is complete now! Thank you mom. ❤️😭,” she captioned the video.

Evans also revealed at the time that her mother was “completely fine” with the custody of Jace being passed over to her daughter after 13 years.
“She’s like, ‘I’m ready to have my freedom. I’m ready to go on a cruise.’ And her and her friend have a cruise already planned,” Evans said.

Evans previously temporarily lost custody of her children amid a 2019 scandal in which her husband shot and killed their family dog for biting Ensley in the face.
She was also fired from Teen Mom 2 at the time, but has since returned to the show for Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.
