Halsey is giving new life to a Versace classic at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards!
The “Ego” singer, 29, rocked a red dress that was once worn by Elizabeth Hurley in the ‘90s on the VMAs carpet on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
“This dress was literally a miracle to find,” she said during the pre-show. “This dress was designed by Gianni Versace for Elizabeth Hurley in 1996, and it hasn’t been worn since. So from 1996 to me right now, and I’m just living it up. I’m loving it.”
Hurley, 59, wore the dress to the grand opening of a Versace boutique in New York City in October 1996. The form-fitting sleeveless gown features a black leopard print pattern over a bright red dress, with sparkly red accents throughout.
