All Swifties know the lyrics to Taylor Swift’s massive singalong hit “Cruel Summer” — including her NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce!
On Saturday, July 13, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, was spotted singing along to Swift’s chart-topping song “Cruel Summer” during the the 2024 American Century Championship in Nevada.
In videos posted to X (formerly Twitter), Kelce could be seen mouthing the words at the celebrity charity golf tournament. He made a crying motion with his hands as the lyrics, “Cried like a baby coming home from the bar,” played. He also bopped his head as he prepared to take his next swing.
Kelce — who is competing alongside his brother Jason Kelce, 36, and other stars from the sports and entertainment worlds — has been grooving to other Swift songs as they blared over the speakers at the three-day event at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course.
On Friday, July 12, the younger Kelce brother was spotted doing some more singing and dancing to his girlfriend’s songs. In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter) by NBC Sports Bay Area & CA, the New Heights host could be seen jamming out to a remix of Swift’s track “Lavender Haze” as he waited for his turn.

The celebrity tournament has been action-packed for Travis. Also on Friday, the football player accidentally hit a spectator with a ball after taking a big swing.
Kelce could be seen approaching the fan after his swing, making the long walk down the course to check on her. Afterward, he quipped that the least he could do was take a picture with her. Paramedics transported her off of the course, and the tournament resumed.
Earlier on Saturday, the soon-to-be game show host also had a funny interaction with a fan who gave him some reassurance after a bad swing. A video posted to X (formerly Twitter), shows Kelce swinging a golf club at his ball before immediately saying, “Oh no!”
A fan can then be heard yelling: “It’s alright, you still got Taylor!” to which Kelce replied, “You ain’t lying there.”
