Lemar TV (لمر) meaning “Sun” in Pashto was premiered on August 15, 2006, under the ownership of Moby group. Kabul based television station broadcasts news, current affairs shows and entertainment programs in the Pashto language. Tolo TV, Tolo News, and FARSI1 are sibling stations of the Pashto news and entertainment service.

The channel is the second most popular Pashto channel in Afghanistan after Shamshad TV and Khyber TV. It Plays Hindi serials dubbed in Pashto like Laagi Tujhse Lagan and Bandhan Saat Janmoun Ka.
